Fronted by long time musical cohorts Sean Flowerdew, Finny and Lynval Golding (The Specials), Pama Intl boasts an all-star cast that has included members from; The Specials, Galliano, The Lee Perry Band, Pop Will Eat Itself, Steel Pulse, Style Council, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Madness and The Selecter.
To date they have released 6 critically acclaimed albums, recorded 2 Radio One Sessions and played triumphant sets at Glastonbury, Womad, Respect, Wickerman, Bestival, Beautiful Days and Big Chill festivals. They've performed alongside The Specials, Jimmy Cliff, Prince Buster, Lee Perry, The Skatalites, Toots & The Maytals, Mad Professor, Mick Jones' Carbon/Silicon and Madness, creating a huge grassroots following, with a live show that has become second to none. 2006 saw them become the first new band in 30 years to sign to Trojan Records, collaborating with reggae legends; Dennis Alcapone, Derrick Morgan, Dave & Ansel Collins, Dawn Penn and Rico Rodriguez.
2008 saw Pama Intl launch of their own Rockers Revolt label, and promptly release their biggest selling album to date, Pama Intl-Love Filled Dub Band.
2009 kicked off with the release of Pama Intl-Highrise Campaign, an anti-knife/gun version album ft. Billy Bragg, Studio One legend Dennis Alcapone, Michie One, Banana Clan protégé Jimmy Screech, G.Corp & Wrongtom.
Pama Intl are now set to release their latest long player... PAMA OUTERNATIONAL (Nov'09). It features Lynval Golding & Horace Panter (The Specials) and is again being co-produced by Sean Flowerdew and John Collins (producer of The Specials iconic Ghost Town). It picks up where "Love Filled..." left off with Pama's unique blend of 60s soul/70s reggae & 21st social commentary, but takes some darker twists and dub turns along the way. Billed as "The Heavyweight Dub Sounds of Now" ...
