Lula is a power-trio led by Patrizia Escoin, former singer of The Romeos. Their third album ‘Sufre como yo’ is Lula in its purest form: power pop, sweet punk guitars and deep lyrics. LULA amazes us with its stunning guitar riffs and that astonishing ability to make the most intimate confessions, express all sorts of feelings, from resentment to love, and make perfect portraits of life and rock in less than two minutes songs. They also mix with real skill new wave (Blondie, Bangles) alike melodies with the fierceness of PJ Harvey or Johnny Thunders’ guitars.
