Influenced by different genres of electronic music and their affection for sampling, synthesizers and effects, they started to play live gigs as the drum ’n’ bass band Feinfilter. The young formation collected their first live experience as a support act for established bands like Bulldogs, Radikal Dub Kollektive, Guts Pie Earshot and La Phaze.
In december 2009 the Hip Hop artist Marsimoto became aware of Feinfilter via youtube videos and recrouted them for his Band Of Brothers tour. They traveled through Europe and played gigs at several festivals like Splash, Chiemsee-Reggae Festival, Frauenfeld Open Air and the Highfield Festival.
After this exciting opportunity, which left important traces in their style of music, they landed in Berlin and started to find more influences and techniques. Today the sound of Feinfilter is coined by exploded effects of the slide-didgeridoo and massive Hip Hop, D’n’B and Dubstep beats.
