At just 21, Findlay is a refreshing new female artist from Manchester. Your Sister and You Gave Me Grace are her first offerings – both to be released on local label Joyeux Anniversaire.
Evoking a gritty and raw garage fuelled energy that could easily give her male counterparts a clear run for their money when she hits the stage, Findlay doesn’t hold back in setting the tone for what’s to come with these two tracks.
Having only really treated her Manchester crowd to her impressive live voice so far, she will play a single launch show at London’s Shackewell Arms on November 8 ahead of playing a much coveted slot on the forthcoming Jake Bugg tour around the UK in November – on personal request of Jake.
