Late night bike riding in Stockholm City and endless love for retro synthesizers inspired Ester Ideskog to compose heavey electro pop hits under her new alias Vanbot. Vanbot has been making music in different variations since her early teens, but finally her music found it’s voice in the electronic soundscape. Shaped by nerve and formed with beats the music comes to life in the little studio with the oversized world map, where she finds inspiration in the fighting DIY spirit.

All material is written by Vanbot herself and produced by Sebastian Forslund who also worked with the Swedish indie artists I Break Horses, Strip Music and Loney, Dear.

Her selftitled debut album was released in 2011 and was heavily praised in the blogosphere, as well as featured in The Guardian, NME, Popjustice and MTV Buzzworthy. The album was followed by a remix EP with works from Niva, Fear of Tigers and Bremen. After touring in Sweden, Germany and the US, Vanbot is now spending most of her time in the studio, recording new material for the upcoming album, with an expected release of early 2013.
