Electric Discharge Machine
1. La Derniere Charge
Electric Discharge Machine - three young artists with a new slant on rock and roll. The band has been playing around London’s Shoreditch scene for the past year. All three previously played with other bands for a couple of years but when they got together for a gig last year felt that they had a common denominator and “somehow things just fell into place and we decided to go for it” said Jeremy. So Jeremy the English/French mix (guitar, vocals,) Paul the Frenchy touch (guitar, vocals) and Ross the 100% Liverpool lad – came to work the London scene - the mixture is tonic.
Music and paroles are all “home-made” compositions of Jeremy and Paul with Ross beating it out on the drums; together they are intent on diversifying and experimenting to make a unique personalized blend of their kind of rock and roll - a pulsing beat with strong rythmique riffs, with just a touch of melancholy and nostalgia which makes for a stimulating cocktail of sounds. Enjoy!
You can join their Electric Swinging Party at the regular monthly gigs at Catch (22 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch).
Electric Discharge Machine release their first ‘EP’, through Bebird Record on October 2012 .
