Dreamy melodies, experimental sounds, love for guitars and mellow voices. Yesterday Shop love to play with genres. They combine shoegaze carpets with pop melodies and post-rock landscapes with indie moves. Considering, the members of the Band are only in between 21 and 25 years old, you can hear their youth only in their brave manner of writing songs.
Although they grew up in the rather rural south of germany, urban creativity and the sound of cities berlin and hamburg where they live today are essential part of their music. The songs of Yesterday Shop are ageless. They don´t fit in a currently upcoming new hype, they just catch human emotions, human fears and human hopes, and express them with their songs.
In June 2010 Yesterday Shop published their first EP called „Spring“, produced in the north of germany by Kristian Kühl. At the moment they work on finishing their first album also produced by Kristian Kühl in Hamburg.
