"A heavy feather is a fantasy band contained in songwriter David Sandströms head. He makes doomed pop hunting for hope on a straight 4/4 beat. He's a romantic ironist (is that a word?), you can probably tell by the title of the record. He lives on a farm in the north of Sweden where he rides dirt bikes and reads a lot. The comic Norm MacDonald has said that laughter is involuntary and that comedy is about unexpected things, which would mean that people not laughing sometimes is the mark of great comedy. A heavy feather wholeheartedly endorses this premise, but transposed to music."
