In the spring of 2011 Sahara Hotnights return with their fifth and self-titled, album. Produced by Jari Haapalainen (Moneybrother) the band dig deeper into the world of big rock riffs, atomspheric melodies and beautiful arrangements.
After Sahara Hotnights' platinum selling fourth album”What If Leaving Is A Loving Thing” - produced by Bjorn Yttling (Lily Allen, Primal Scream, Lykke Li etc) - kthe quartet from northen Sweden returned to the back to basics rehearsal room.
The singles taken from the new album "OH's", "Vulture Feet" and "Little Love Sorrow" paints a picture of an ever more energetic and hungry band.
The band's previous singles “Cheek To Cheek” and “Visit To Vienna” were the two most played Swedish songs on Swedish Radio in 2008 and in February 2009 the band was awarded the most prestigious award in Swedish Music called Rockbjornen.
This summer the album will be released in the US and Europe which will by followed by massive touring in both territories, both as a headline act and supporting bigger names. Due to their amazing reputation as a live act and earlier support slots like Foo Fighters, Oasis and The Hives.
