Having only formed last year in Leamington Spa, singer Rebekah Wood and multi-instrumentalist John Rigard were hand picked by Echo & the Bunnymen as their main tour support. They have also played shows with Hooray For Earth, Binary and remixed Post War Years.
The reaction to their EP, Cast A Shadow, was received with high praise and leading radio support. Coves can count the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Nick Grimshaw as fans, alongside 6Music’s Lauren Laverne and Don Letts.
COVES are to support Eugene McGuinness’ forthcoming UK tour this November. The news follows after the announcement of their ATP show on Monday 29 October 2012 at The Sebright Arms. Their single, No Ladder, is out now via Cross Keys Records.
