Sub-Sonic Live With Chew Lips - FREE DOWNLOAD
June 2012

Sub-Sonic Live is fast becoming something of a spectacle. Already having showcased some of Britain's best young talent, including The Horrors, we have also had the pleasure of teaming up with Greg Wilson, Andrew Weatherall and Afrikaa Bambaata, all pioneers in their field. For this months line-up, we have handpicked the UK's freshest acts for an evening of imaginative and diverse sounds.

Headlining at The Garage this Friday night will be electro pop duo, Chew Lips, a band who have gained an impressive following with their well constructed synth resonation. This is an outfit who have a clear and defined direction, which echoes through their music and their live shows. The two supporting acts are equally as impressive. Moshi Moshi's latest signing, Fiction, are certain to be a big deal within the coming months. A quirky group, with songs rich in synth hooks, yet maintaining a minimalism equal to the likes of Metronomy. Expect a fun, upbeat set from these South West London lads. I Am A Camera are a very interesting duo indeed. Halfway between dance and new age synth, with defined, elevated vocals, they can capture a feeling, bottle it up, and let it explode. Not only will there be all of the above, there will also be the countries finest and quite ingenious DJ's filling the other rooms. Princess Julia will be heading up the main room alongside The Lovely Jonjo, with the Legends room taken over by White Heat, and Curating the Discovery room will be DJ's from one of the best loved music magazines, The Fly. This could well be Sub-Sonic Live's best and most energetic night, so make sure not to miss out. We still have a few tickets available, for the price of only £5. It's not often you can see a line-up of such quality for that price. For tickets, simply click on the link below.
