Set for release on 2 August, “Self Control” is the new single from Sunday Girl, also known as 21 year-old Jade Williams. Originally a hit Laura Brannigan in 1984, the single is the follow up to Sunday Girl’s “Four Floors” released in March this year.
Taking her name from her part time position as the “sunday girl” at a pet shop, rather than the Blondie song of the same name, Sunday Girl looks set to be one of this year's female, posh-pop success stories, working with Kylie producer Jim Elliot.
