"The Ring" is the first single to be taken from Lidell’s upcoming album “Compass”, to be released on Warp, May 10. The electro blues track features the talents of Lidell’s musical pals Chilly Gonzales and Dan Rossen (Grizzly Bear), continuing in the spirit of Warp’s widening portfolio of artists, whilst keeping one foot, loosely, in the electronic camp.

After managing to blag a trip to the beach to make the video, Lidell and his new band will be hard at work, touring Europe and America to support the album.
