Brooklyn based rock and roll band, LOCKSLEY, is currently undergoing a quick hiatus as their lead guitar and vocalist, Jesse Laz, heals from a vocal cord surgery he recently underwent. They should resume in no time, promising to sound better than ever, which would be the treat of the year, for this band is undoubtedly the best unsigned rock and roll band in America right now.
Their roots "British invasion" old time sensibility crossed with modern garage rock angst never fail to contagiously make you twist and shout with their raw stage rage and retro charm. They can boast of a number of accomplishments since their inception in 2005, including numerous film and television licenses, culminating to recognition as one of the best unsigned bands in the U.S. by Rolling Stones, Elle, Spin, to name a few. LOCKSLEY will definitely be the band to look out for come this fall.
