Mongrel project from ex Arctic Monkey

Following collaborations, with a score of notable musicians at “Love Music Hate Racism”, ex Arctic Monkey, Andy Nicholson (not pictured above) has revealed plans for a new project. Aptly named “Mongrel”, the band’s line up will include Drew McConnell (Baby Shambles), John McClure (Reverend and The Makers) and rapper Lowkey (Poisonous Poets).
Bassist, Nicholson, was reportedly offered solo deals after his departure from the Arctic Monkeys in 2006, but decided to wait until feeling ready to return to the business, with a more dub/reggae direction.
Rumours suggest that Mongrel are working on an album at London's Dean Street Studios.
