It may appear that we are obsessed with keytars at the moment, but shares in Roland must be very healthy this year, with their AX-7 keytar proving the weapon of choice for so many electro-punks. Take The RGBs for example, boasting not one, but two of the electronic axes in their stage line up.

Late of the Pier release new material on Parlaphone

The name “Castle Donnington” may conjure up images of Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC and other monsters of rock, but the East Midlands town has now produced its own home grown electro-art-thrashers.

Although crediting the local “Liars Club” and band member Andrew’s father’s huge record collection as primary influences, “Late of the Pier” may not be totally untouched by the local geology.
