The Lines
Biography
The Lines are a four piece indie rock outfit from Wolverhampton consisting of Dean Bate (Lead Guitar), Dave O'Connor (Drums and Samples), Alex Ohm (Vocals and Guitar) and Danny Pease (Bass Guitar).
After a great start to the year which has included upstaging Funeral Party as part of HMV’s ‘Next Big Things’, supporting Ocean Colour Scene on their sold out ‘Moseley Shoals’ tour, and a run of shows at Canadian Music Week, New York and SXSW which culminated in the band wowing a capacity 1,200 audience at ‘The Big One’, The Lines have wasted no time with getting down to business in 2011. With a mesmerising live show and the tunes to match, The Lines convert fans wherever they play, including none other than Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, who has said that “there aren’t many good bands coming out of Wolverhampton, just one great band called The Lines”.
In April 2010 the band signed to Amboy Road Records Ltd shortly before the release of their self titled debut album 'The Lines'.
