Residing in Manchester, Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson are Hurts. A new wave synth pop duo, cultivating forwards, expanding on northern quarter hype to play all three dates at Dot To Dot.
"Happiness", their debut 2010 album featured a surprising collaboration in the form of down under pop sensation Kylie Minogue on the track "Devotion". This spurred further fraternization to promote the album via way of an interactive audio book narrated by Anna Friel.
Supporting Scissor Sisters on their UK tour and a potential joining with Leona Lewis, Hurts have brushed aside scathing industry stereotypes to attain a diversity others are too scared, or too shallow to adopt.
